As I mentioned in last week's post, most Trails of History sites will be closed on Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day. The Pennsylvania Military Museum and Fort Pitt Museum will be open. The Pennsylvania Military Museum is hosting a World War II event Saturday and Sunday, exploring the experiences of soldiers on the Western Front in Europe. Be sure to check the list of other events in the coming week, as well as the list of events requiring or offering advance tickets. Oh, and the list of summer camps. There's a lot to do.
