PHMC Marker Watch

I've decided to start a page to track posts, etc. that feature images of PHMC Historical Markers. Though sometimes seen as an outdated technology, they are often used as shorthand for "historic" or "historical" subjects in photos for articles, posts, etc. So I'm just going to share things here when I see them. Feel free to provide your finds in the comments. You may also be interested in checking out Laura Klotz's blog, "Marker Quest," that is focused on the PHMC markers (thanks to Karen Galle, who oversees the marker program, for the link.)

Through February 2020, in honor of 400 years of African American history in what became the United States, PHMC will be highlighting state historical markers that document African American history in Pennsylvania.
